These pictures were taken in Louisiana at my sister's a few nights ago. We had so much fun together. We hadn't laughed that much in a while!
We plan to visit more often and spend good quality time together. I've been to see her once since then already. They had a little get together at their house. I wasn't feeling too well but I went anyway and I am glad that I did.
I surprised her with some dishes! I've had them for 4 or 5 years and I only used them one time and that was for Thanksgiving one year. I thought that they would look beautiful in her home. She inherited the china hutch and buffet from our great Aunt and Uncle. (I got the table and chairs). Don't they look pretty in here! She has a red accent wall in her dining room and it looks perfect in here.
Melinda arranging her dishes. She loves them and still have 2 more place settings to give her so she will have 8 in all. I'm glad that she likes them and I hope that she will use them more than I did. I'm trying to downsize some things in my little cottage. I'm also planning on using the things that I have and not just storing them.

Lee,
How Beautiful, and how sweet and loving to share with your sister.. Now, that's a special gift.. Sisters'.. What would I do without mine ?! Love em' to pieces.. Isn't it funny how when your together, everyone seems to play well, and laugh, or my goodness, do we laugh.. You gotta love the "sister time"... hugs to you, ~tea~
Hi sweetie! Boy, I have missed you! My laptop went KA-PLEWIE and I was mega missing you!
I'm so glad to hear and see that you went to see your sister. The dishes are just lovely and look great in her hutch.
How are you and Stevie doing? How are all the kids? I'm feeling so behind on everybody. It's going to be a job trying to catch up with everyone. I'm just glad to have my laptop working...but now I have to have all kinds of things stuck in it for it to work properly. Apparently it acquired a virus. I hope that never happens again.
Well, I'm off to bed. I'll try and call you Saturday night if that's alright.
Love ya
Deanna :D
Lee....
There is no one in the world quite like a sister is there? I loved reading this post and am happy for you! I am luck to live in the same small town as my sister and see her lots whether its supper at her place (which we did yesterday) or going to school events together( which we are doing today) or a day out thrift store shopping together (which is our plan for tomorrow!). We always laugh together, cry together, or what not! There is other relationship in my life quite like the one I have with my sister Melissa, so I can totally relate! Glad you had a great time. Nice pics also, you both look beautiful!!!!
Ciao,
Melinda
