Today I called in sick to work. I hate when I have to do that. I had a fibromyalgia flare up today. I think it has a lot to do with the weather and the fact that I didn't get much sleep last night. I watched the weather channel all through the night. I feel so bad for the people in Texas. Hurricane Ike was huge! I dont understand why people would stay there after they were told to leave and explained to how dangerous it was to be. We got a lot of wind and some rain. Not as much as with Gustav. I couldn't sleep with the weather so I stayed on the computer for hours. I even looked up the hurricane of 1900 in Galveston. That was a terrible disaster! My heart goes out to all of the men, women, and children that lost their lives. It was round 6000 of them. My great grandmother was born the very next year. This afternoon I walked outside to look around to see if there was any wind damage. Just a lot of tree limbs all over the yard. There are five or six roses that opened up overnight or this morning that were not there yesterday. They are beautiful and pink. My favorite color. Seeing them made me feel a little better. Lets all remember the people in Texas and keep them in our prayers.

Thank you so much for visiting me and for your sweet words :) I have a very good friend who has dealt with Fibro for years and I know how hard that can be when it flairs up. I hope that you are taking it easy and getting plenty of rest.
Hugs,
Dena
Thank you for your kind words. I am on a generic version of Plaquenil, or HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE. Not sure why, as this is a drug used for Lupus patients. Did you take this before ? I have a lot more trouble so far with the Costo, than the Fibro. The pain is awful and I feel like I am having a heart attack sometimes. Bless your heart, living with this. I keep thinking I am going to get better, then some days reality hits and I know I wont. That is the hardest part. I do think I will be better over time, as I get used to it mentally and let go of the worry. Yes, selfish me, rambling on, when so many are hurting in TX and LA. I lived in Huntsville TX when I was younger and also De Ridder LA. Very nice people in that part of the country. Well, loved hearing from you, don't be shy. And I would love to see pictures of your Rose Cottage, I am sure it is beautiful !!
