I'm back!!! Just been so busy lately! This past Sunday we had our bridal expo at work. It turned out ok. Not as good as the last one. We have one every six months. A lot of work is involved in preparing for the expo and this time with me being sick I missed a couple of days of work right before the expo. I had a head and chest cold. I had to work one day not being able to talk at all. I could barely even whisper. My customers were all very understanding. The funny thing is when I would whisper to them, they would whisper back to me. It was a very quiet day! I flew out of there at 5:00. I felt so bad. I went to my doctor the next day and he put me on the Z-pack. I feel lots better now. I've been able to get a few things done here at my cottage. I painted my top kitchen cabinets. I used heirloom lace. I haven't decided if I'm going to use the same color on the bottom cabinets. I thought about painting them black like my hutch. I dont know yet. I dont want all of the black to make it too dark in there. My appliances are also black. I probably will go with the heirloom lace which is a pretty creamy ivory. What do you think? My walls are yellow and my accent color is red. I like those colors together. It makes my kitchen have a warm feeling.
Today is my off day from work. I want to do so many things here at the cottage. I'm going to paint my front door. A couple of months ago I had painted it bright pink. It looks pretty but now I want to decorate for fall and the bright pink just doesn't work at all. I am repainting it today a pretty olive green. That will look much better. Im ready to get my fall decorations out. I love fall. I love all of the warm colors. Well...I better go get started!

Glad you are feeling better.
I think painting your door olive green will look really nice, it will make a nice backdrop to the changing seasons.
Have a lovely weekend!
