Peachy 'comfort' cobbler

What do you do when someone gives you fresh peaches?

Bake a delicious peach cobbler, of course. :) Aren't these the biggest peaches? Stevie's parents gave us some a few days ago and I couldn't wait to try them out. They were the best that I've ever tasted.

They were huge and so juicy. Made my kitchen smell so good baking that cobbler. I always use my old square iron skillet. I've had it since I was 16 years old. It was one of the items in my 'hope chest'. Did y'all ever have a 'hope chest'? My granny put so many things in there for me. I still cherish them all.

I love 'Fall'....my favorite time of year. I love baking comfort foods. I love being inside all warm and cozy. Hope y'all have a beautiful day!

Yes, Fall is a favorite season for me too. Love the cooler weather and cozy times inside. Hope you have a special weekend.
Wish I could come over for a visit and have a taste of your cobbler!!

Your peach cobbler was great! I love it the next day too.....cold, right out if the frige. Those peaches were the biggest I have ever seen and the sweetest taste. Sad, that it is all gone. Will you make another.....please.....I will start my diet Monday. Ha
