Missing my Cole...

My sweet Cole when he was a little baby. So adorable! I woke up this morning missing and thinking about Cole. I haven't head from him a few days. He is still living in north Mississippi and planning on starting school soon. I miss him. I thought that I would show a few old pictures of him to share with y'all. Cole has the Internet...I wonder if he will check my blog from time to time and see these pictures! (LOL) He was around 6 or 7 months here. I love this picture! He was in the 1st grade here. He looks so sweet! His teacher loved him! She did say that he was a bit of a clown though. He always loved to show off for his little friends.

He was around 5 months old here and I was 26 years old. I bet I have planted a million kisses on those little cheeks!

This picture was taken a coupe of summer's ago at his grandparent's house in Mandeville, La. He was boiling crawfish.

My sweet little boy...now a sweet young man. (16 years old)

Here he is at 6 years old. This was at the homecoming game at his school. He was the escort for his little friend Brandy. Back then girls were "yucky". He didn't want to get to close! Girl germs!!!

I tried to get them to get closer for the picture but he said that her dress was too big. Look at that silly smile! They looked so precious together!

This is one of my all time favorite photos of Cole with one of many of his toy guitars! That was his favorite toy! He went through at least 6 or 7 of them! He got so into it ...playing and singing like a 'rock star'. I have him on video acting like 'Elvis' that I will have to find. Maybe I can get someone to show me how to put a clip of it on my blog. It is so cute!

This is Cole all serious looking! We had went to visit him when he was at Camp Shelby. He wrote and sang me a song. It was beautiful.

Cole at Christmas, this past year. So grown up!
I MISS YOU, COLE! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ON MY BIRTHDAY! TAKE CARE! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!!!
I hope y'all liked these pictures and can feel the love that have for him. He called me on Valentine's day to tell me what he had done for his girlfriend for Valentine's day. He wanted to see if I thought it was a good gift. He had bought her a card and some candy. The best part was that he went to where she works and played and sang her a song in front of everyone!! He wanted to know if I thought that was a cool gift!? I said 'of course, how sweet and romantic'. She works at IHOP and the place was packed!! He said that it made her cry...happy tears!

Aww Lee, this is a precious post! What a handsome boy! Loved looking at the pics and reading this post. I miss those days too when my boys were little. I wish I could turn back the clock and pause it for a while just so I could hold them again. My 2 are now 10 and 6, and how I miss those baby days!
Best of luck to Cole at school!

Ooohhh Lee,
Such a handsome young man you have.. I know how you feel, my oldest son is almost 23..WHAT !! I can't believe that, I always think I'm still 23..hahaha.. He lives out, and is on his own.. He's a police officer.. I think of him all the time, and lift him in prayer constantly, just for safety, and pray his heart stays soft.. I have to talk to him EVERYDAY.. He knows, and is sooo good about calling Momma.. Always my baby too !! Sweet blog and darling post today.. Have a blessed, wonderful Wednesday !! hugs ~tea~

Lee, he is so sweet. My son went through a guitar phase as well and later replaced it with hammers and dump trucks then LEGO's. Oh my he was obsessed with lego's. Now we know why (autism) but it was interesting watching what he would come up with. They grow so fast. He is now 22, tall as all get out and bright young man.

Maybe nudge your cole with a little email and a link. That is what I did. :)

Aww sweetie, you're missing your boy aren't you? What a sweetheart he is to serenade his girl with his song...you know, he already knows what we ladies like. He is a thoughtful young man.

I was going to call you but everytime I try, I get side-railed! Aauggh! I'm going to try and post what happened to us on Saturday in just a while. We just had a power outage and it just now came back ....no internet for five hours!! Calgon taaaaaaaaaaaaaake awaaaaaaaaaaaay!

They grow up sooo fast. I look back and wonder where did the time go? He has grown up so much and so fast just from the first time I met him...coaching him in football....to taking him fishing and hunting....teaching him to drive his truck....a standard....whew...I am laughing right now....Ole Cole, I miss ya.
