Legally Cole!!!

Well...Cole is finally legal! He got his driver's license a couple of days ago. I know, I know, he should have already had them before now. (He turned 17 in July.) I just kept putting it off because I thought that would be one less worry that I would have to deal with for at least a little while longer. He leaves this week-end to go stay with friends in north Mississippi. He plans to start college there this summer. He is going to work with his friends doing carpentry work until school starts. He is growing up! I have to let go and let him! I know that I've always been over- protective of him but I would do it the same way if I had to do it all over again.

The ladies thought it was funny that I was taking pictures of him for my scrapbook! They thought he would be embarrassed...but not Cole! He has always loved having his pictures taken! They just don't know that I took them for my blog! Look at those faux-finished walls! What were they thinking? Makes me want to get my paintbrush out and fix them!

It is scarey to think that Cole and Tyler will be on the roads driving......They are growing up too fast! Cole was so excited and proud of getting his driving license. Cole will be fine and he needs to remember that we are here for him.

Yeah for Cole!! My middle son just got his restricted license last week so now I have 2 drivers!! Say your prayers for me, I'm going to need them (: What did you end up doing with the hutch? I thought the idea with the material was a good one too.

My first thought was a pink or green toile too! I think you can get the green toile at Walmart, I had a hard time finding the pink when I redid some chairs and the material was expensive. Heck at Walmart you could get some of each material and change it out all the time, oooooh I just had an idea, I have the antique wall paper, I could put that on the cardboard and put it in my china cabinet, I might try that! Good luck (;
