Hooked on houses...

Isn't this house pretty? I drove by it when I was in Hattiesburg on family day. I just had to take some pictures of it. These are the colors that I'm using on my little cottage. I love all of the gingerbread trim. I want to add that to my cottage too. I am putting new flooring down this week in my den. I decided on laminate floors instead of ceramic tile. I don't know how hard it will be to install. Maybe it won't be too bad. I just love taking pictures of pretty homes. I wonder what the owners think when they see a strange lady taking pictures of their houses? I could make a full album of all the houses that I've
photographed over the years. I might do that one day. I can't wait 'til the holiday decorations start going up! That will make beautiful pictures.

I love going to different towns and driving around in the older neighborhoods where a lot of the older houses are located and looking at them. Hattiesburg has a historic area downtown with several beautiful houses like this one. It makes for a peaceful day....just a chance to get away...excape from everything...maybe shop at a few flea market/antique type stores...always looking for a deal. I use to never stop at these stores, however, I do now and you can really find some deals on some good stuff. It makes me feel old when I see some of the items that they are calling collectibles or antique...HA!
